Talia Joy Castellano was without-a-doubt one of the most beautiful, strong, confident, and inspirational young women of all time. Regardless of battling cancer for 6 years, the 13 year old gained popularity by owning the bald look and starting her own YouTube channel where she posted makeup tutorials as well as fashion and cancer related vlogs.

 

The vibrant girl appeared on several TV shows and even became the face of cosmetic brand Cover Girl. Not only did she redefine the symbol and meaning of beauty, but she also set an example to women all around the world that being bald was not any different than having hair.

 

Unfortunately, Talia lost her hair while battling childhood cancer and makeup became her passion. Talia created the motto “Makeup Is My Wig”. Her makeup tutorials on YouTube continue to inspire millions around the world.

Talia never enjoyed wearing wigs, she claimed that wearing a wig made her feel “fake” or “not me”. So when she put her make up on, she embraced her beauty despite having no hair at all.  

 

Even after her passing, Talia’s Instagram and YouTube channel are still visited and watched and her legacy will leave on for many years to come. The fabulous Talia will never be forgotten and will forever remain an inspiration to everyone battling with baldness, reminding them that beauty is not dependent on hair.
